Dave Lemke is a tax partner at PwC, specializing in regulatory and tax compliance within the private equity and venture capital sectors. With over fourteen years of public accounting experience serving primarily clients in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dave is a leader PwC's West Coast tax practice. Dave focuses on fund structuring, increasing tax efficiency, tax compliance, global information reporting, complex private equity transactions, blockchain and digital assets.
 
Previously, he served as CFO & CCO at Giddy, where he developed and implemented comprehensive AML policies, navigated federal and state money transmission laws, managed financial reporting for digital assets. Dave was appointed by the governor to contribute his expertise to the Utah Blockchain and Digital Innovation Task Force, furthering regulatory advancements in the digital space. Dave has also worked with the US Treasury to improve Proposed Regulations on digital asset reporting. An accomplished public speaker, he frequently presents at CFO conferences and industry events, sharing his insights on tax and regulatory matters.

Dave is a licensed CPA, long distance runner, and a former member of Imagine Dragons. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
